Curriculum
Campo Bello is truly invested in teaching the whole child. We utilize new techniques that research tells us is most effective, in conjunction with time-honored teaching practices.
Campo Bello also emphasizes social skills for academic success. We believe that intentionally teaching strategies to promote students’ problem-solving skills, resiliency to work through challenges, deep reflection on events, and the ability to adapt to different challenges will increase overall academic success among all students.
Collaborative Classrooms
With a new school building, we are lucky to be able to have the latest and greatest in desk and chairs for our students. Watch the following video to see how our new classroom furniture fosters better learning:
Campo Bello School-Parent Compact
Campo Bello Elementary School, and the parents of the students participating in activities, services, and programs funded by Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) (participating children), agree that this compact outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the State’s high standards.

Kids at Hope
Kids at Hope inspires, empowers and transforms schools, organizations serving youth and entire communities to create an environment and culture where all children experience success – NO EXCEPTIONS!
The Kids at Hope philosophy was adopted by Campo Bello Elementary starting the 2018-19 school year.
The kids are learning a pledge that they will be able to take with them through the rest of their lives. Ask your student to tell you the pledge!
PBIS
Positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) is a way for schools to encourage good behavior. With PBIS, kids learn about behavior, just as they learn other subjects like math or science. The key to PBIS is prevention, not punishment.
Campo Bello Elementary has adopted PBIS starting the 2018-19 school year. Both Campo Bello and Aire Libre staff attended training together so that when we become one school we all are doing positive interventions for ALL students.
Technology in the Classroom
Campo Bello also utilizes technology to support student learning. Every student in the school has an electronic device in their classroom to use during the school day to help support their needs. We also have teachers using Telepresence to support learning outside our school and connecting students together to accomplish academic goals.
